I am having the carton box msmnt 40*40*27, kindly reply how to calculate CBM for this msmnt

In practice, the actual CBM is not absolute for the material to be loaded in side the cartons and for the external volume of the cartons when filled. External measurement of the cartons are to be taken into account while loading the cartons in containers. If this is not taken into account, then it would result in shut out at the time of filling the container for shipment. Therefore, work out two CBMs as below: a) 0.515 x 0.335 x 0.195 and b) 0.525 x 0.345 x 0.205 Hope this solves your problem.

But if the numbers are in cm or centimeter, the answer is .4 X .4 X .27 = .0432 CBM

carton size 40 x 40 x 27 inches = 43,200 divide by 1728 = 25 divide by 35.35 = 0.70 cbm.
