I picked up my boat and it was fine, but once I got home and took it off my vehicle I noticed that motor oil was splattered on her. Why? What does that mean? Is my vehicle going to sh*t?

Yep... The vehicle you used to tow the boat is leaking oil.

If the oil in the tow vehicle is at a normal level, it came from other sources.
Open container of oil bouncing around in truck bed
Road recently oiled. Will smell like diesel.
If the oil is at the back of the boat, check 2 cycle oil tank or loose oil containers
brake fluid from trailer brake master cylinder or broken brake line

if its on the outside of the hull where it could be thrown or blown from the tow vehicle, it was thrown or blown from the tow vehicle.
check ALL fluids, and check the wheel wells and fenders for signs that the tires kicked it up.

if the tow vehicle is a diesel maybe it was overloaded and spewing raw fuel, its hard to tell diesel from motor oil

you advise when you're taking it to the recycle center? recycled right into a lighter weight of oil. in an engine, some is going as "blow via" and gets wiped out interior the cylinder. or if the seals, gaskets and sealed bearings are failing, then some can migrate into the coolant gadget, and likewise only leak out onto the floor, or while an oil replace is finished via somebody who would not care regarding our surroundings, the oil finally ends up finally the two interior the floor>floor water grant, or lakes and streams, and from there into the nutrients chain, so finally, interior the little organisms that are eaten via the bigger ones, etc to the little fish that are eaten via the bigger fish, and someplace alongside the line placed on our table at dinner. especially plenty used oil, finally ends up returned interior of us one way or yet another... controlling us very such as that "oil" on the "X-data" gee contemplate whether that replaced right into a metaphor...
